MOCAtv World’s First Art Channel

We helped create world's first art channel on youtube. Positioning MOCAtv, not as a video extension of the Museum, but as a global initiative that aims to democratize art around the world. Our content strategy would lead with pop culture content (Bjork, Death Grips, Die Antwoord collaborations) and then follow-up with a more in-depth look at some of the most fascinating artists of our time. MOCAtv’s Youtube Channel became a collaborative space, turning the comments section into an opportunity to work with renowned artists (The URL Project) or become part of the conversation (Love/Hate Graffiti).

MOCAtv is the first and only dedicated art channel to be part of YouTube's Original Channels and is part of YouTube Education, a collection of more than 700,000 videos on a wide range of educational topics from math to science, history to geography. MOCAtv presents both curated and original videos to inform, educate and engage a global audience with contemporary art and its intersection with film, video, music, performance, dance, comedy, and more.

I’m glad we met.
